Built for heat. Outstanding flexibility.
SRF Firesleeve is manufactured from 'E' glass fibre yarn knitted into a sleeve, then coated with high-grade silicone elastomer rubber.
It's a very flexible sleeving designed to protect wires, cables and hoses from high ambient temperatures — continuous protection at 260°C, with the ability to withstand a molten metal splash at 1200°C.
Highly resistant to most oils, hydraulic fluids, fuels, acids and alkalis. When exposed to flame, the high-grade rubber forms a protective SiO₂ layer.
Continuous protection at high ambient temperatures — the standard choice for new installations.
Protects workers from burns caused by hot boxes, steam lines and pipework.
Reduces heat loss by retaining heat within pipework and process lines.
Withstands molten metal splash at 1200°C in foundries and metalworking environments.
Inside diameter from 4mm to 203mm. Supplied in 15-metre coils.
Red Oxide is standard. Blue, Silver and Black on request.
